After getting the brief of the lead developer we discussed who would work on what part. Eventually we decided he would work on the big picture stuff, layout and animations etc. And I would work on smaller features like data aggregation, buttons and page transitions.
The final results can be seen here. This was the employee fold-out, checking the Slack API to see who is online, all live.
The "footer-buttons" a smaller component that acts as an inbetween navigation element.
Even though it was a short project I did learn a lot from it. My main take-aways are; when stuck inmediatly report, ask for feedback often and take 15 minutes everyday after work to review what is finished and what isn't
